Grimsby Aquatics Swim Team took part in an important initiative during June and July to bring water safety to over 20 primary schools throughout North East Lincolnshire.  The summer months and school holidays are a time for families and children enjoy time at the beach and by the pool but there are still far too many tragic accidents that could be prevented with improved water safety knowledge.

Lead by Coach, Callum Gladding, the primary school pupils received a talk and video about water safety.  The following schools took up the offer from Grimsby Aquatics:

Stanford Primary School, Laceby

Eastfield Primary School

East Ravendale Primary School

Old Clee Primary School (KS2)

William Barcroft Primary School

Lisle Marsden Primary School

Waltham Leas Primary School

The Grange Primary School

Old Clee Primary School (KS1)

Springfield Primary School

Wybers Wood Primary Academy (KS2)

Ormiston South Parade School

Wybers Wood Primary Academy (KS1)

Keelby Primary School

Reynolds Primary School

Bursar Primary Academy, Cleethorpes

Healing Primary School

Enfield Academy, New Waltham

Welholme Primary KS2 & KS1

Strand Primary Academy

Canon Peter Primary School, Immingham

Pupils and teacher found the talk and video really interesting and helpful.  If your child is interested in learning to swim or improving on their technique in all four strokes please contact for a trial.
